How Bristol City fans saw the draw at Coventry

Bristol City fans' views:

I think we played well and could well have won with a bit of luck.

The new boy (Alvaro Saborio) played well and looks fairly good. He fitted in well and it bodes well for the future. We have a good chance against Swansea now.

Tony, Pucklechurch

I DIDN'T think Coventry were up to much – I thought they were there for the taking.

I was surprised when they scored the first goal and I thought we were the best team all the way through.

Paul, Portbury

NICKY Maynard's goal made the trip worthwhile. I was hoping to come away with three points rather than one, but at least we didn't lose.

For his first game, Saborio played OK, and he has just come back from an international. (Evander) Sno played quite well for the cameo appearance he made.

Dave, Bath

LEE Johnson played all right when he came on. He always gets loads of stick.

He turned the QPR game around when he came on. He always gets booed, but it is not by everyone. It is only a small minority who boo our players.

Maxine, Bristol

CITY defended quite poorly in the first half but we got the goal back early in the second half and we dominated. Saborio looked great in the air. It looked like an open goal that he missed, but he looked good and he will score goals for us.

Sno looked classy when he came on as well.

It sets us up well for Swansea. We have a good chance of going there and getting the three points, but at the end of the day it was a bit of a missed opportunity because we should have won the game.

David Sainsbury, Pensford

IN the second half we were a lot better. Towards the end of the first half we started to play the better football and we could have sneaked it.

Everything Nicky Maynard does is great. He laid on a chance for the new guy and everything he does is clean and stronger this year. He is Premiership quality, I think.

Saborio's was a great chance. We did well, but the defending still needs a bit of work. There is a lack of pace on the right-hand side that on another day could catch us out.

David Saunders, Melton Mowbray
