Your chance to grill Bristol's MPs and police
Bristol people have the chance to quiz local politicians and police at a Question Time-style debate held as part of Local Democracy Week.
The event takes place tomorrow at the Council House at College Green between 7.30pm and 9pm.
Local Democracy Week is celebrated across the European Union with events designed to explain how local decisions are made, what councillors do and how members of the public can get more involved.
Superintendent Julian Moss will join a panel of people made up of representatives from organisations including the council.
He said: "We hope that people will come along to ask us any questions or give their comments about the way we police the city. It is vital that we get the opinions of the people who live in Bristol to make sure we are doing the best job we can."
The event will be a chance to ask questions and debate important issues facing Bristol.
Anyone who wants to ask questions regarding the way that the city is run and give their opinion should call 0117 922 2848.
In addition anyone is free to drop in and speak to representatives from Bristol police who will be on hand at the Council House between 5pm and 7.30pm to explain how people can get more involved in shaping the way their community is policed and how they can play their part.
