My brush with Laurel and Hardy
AS a member of the 'Walligog Club' in the 50s, I entered the Laurel and Hardy painting competition and won a consolation prize of a second edition Eagle Annual, presented and signed by Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy on stage at the Hippodrome in 1952.
Also, I remember seeing (date, I don't know) Ronald Chesney playing the mouth organ. He gave children in the audience miniature mouth organs to blow when he played (which I still have).
Also I remember Diana Dors and Dickie Dawson.
