Two men make off with £8,000

Police are hunting two men who pushed a man over a wall in Kingswood and then stole £8,000 in cash and cheques.

The victim was not injured in the incident, which happened in Quarry Road at about 1pm on Monday. Police said one of the attackers was black, in his mid-30s, about 6ft tall and of medium build, with dreadlocks. The second was white, in his late 30s, about 5ft 4in tall and of a stocky build, with an Irish accent and tattoo on his right hand.

The two men left the scene in a silver Peugeot 206 which drove away along Hanham Road.
