My First bus driver was polite

Thursday, May 07, 2009, 07:00

In response to your recent article on First bus drivers, I would like to write in praise of one of them.

This morning I was at the crossing lights in Eagle Road in Brislington when a First bus pulled up.

I was delayed in crossing the road but the driver, seeing me running for the bus, waited for me.

I got on the bus and thanked him and he gave me a smile.

I then apologised as I only had a £10 note for the £3.90 fare, but he assured me it was fine.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are some kind and courteous drivers on the First bus routes.

Nannette Bevan, Brislington.
