Yate egg hunt cracks some smiles

Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 07:00

Children in Yate took advantage of the glorious weekend weather to enjoy an Easter egg hunt.

Yate Town Council and the Friends of Kingsgate Park organised the event at Kingsgate Park on Easter Monday.

Children were invited to hunt for a wooden token hidden within the park which could be exchanged for a chocolate Easter egg.

There were also prizes for those who came along wearing Easter bonnets.
