Seven-car M5 motorway pile-up

Two women and three children were taken to hospital for treatment after a seven-car pile-up, southbound on the M5, at about 1pm on Saturday, August 29.

Two Avon Fire and Rescue Service pumps and a rescue tender attended and one woman with a suspected back injury was rescued from her car via a spinal board.
