Local FA Cup football action
Simon Gilbert returned to the Almondsbury side after suspension for his first game of the season and they had the better of the early exchanges with Kane Ingram, Marcus Mapstone and Gilbert all going close.
But Cinderford, who have yet to win a league game this season and recently lost manager Mike Davis, took the lead just before half-time when former Almondsbury player Rich Kear set up Chris Hartland to score.
Almondsbury were back on terms early in the second half when Ingram and Matt Williams combined to set up Simon Hill to score from 20 yards.
They took the lead after 75 minutes when a good run by Sahr Kabba down the right flank opened up the Cinderford defence and his cross was converted by Williams.
Bristol Manor Farm allowed a 3-1 lead to slip away in their clash with Warminster Town and they needed an 82nd-minute equaliser to force a 4-4 draw and earn a replay on Wednesday.
Farm took a 20th-minute lead when Scott Feltham went clear to chip goalkeeper Graham Kitely and they added a second on the half-hour when Carl Rutter scored from a corner.
Warminster pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time when Dave Watkins beat Lee Ballard with a header.
Yet midfielder Rutter, who was switched to a striking role due to injuries, restored Farm's two-goal advantage six minutes into the second half.
Tom Welsh made it 3-2 and then, in the 65th minute, Jordan Hazel gave away a penalty for Sean Sheppard to make it 3-3 from the spot.
Warminster then went 4-3 up when Tom Clifford headed in from a free kick but, with eight minutes left, Farm equalised, Rutter punishing a defensive mistake to complete his hat-trick.
Hallen gave their best performance of the season but had to settle for a replay at Wessex League Premier Division Lymington Town tomorrow after a goalless draw
Justin Pritchard, on a couple of occasions, and Jaz Bright were both denied goals by saves from the Lymington keeper while David Anyinsah wasted a good chance.
Hallen went down to 10 men in the 70th minute when George Brimson was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Portishead Town were beaten 6-0 at Toolstation first division leaders Gillingham Town, while Larkhall Athletic were beaten 2-0 at home by Carlsberg South West Peninsula Leaguers Saltash United.
