Bristol Manor Farm avenge midweek defeat with 3-0 win over Radstock

Toolstation League: Bristol Manor Farm quickly gained revenge for their 4-2 Toolstation Premier Division home defeat by Radstock Town in midweek with a 3-0 victory over the Somerset club.

"I changed things around after the midweek game, when we were without three key defenders, and this made a big difference," said Farm manager John Black.

Farm started well and took a second-minute lead when a long clearance from goalkeeper Lee Ballard was headed into the path of Ben Hiscox by a Radstock defender and he raced clear to score.

They added a second after 20 minutes when Hiscox made a run down the left flank and his low cross into the box was deflected in off a defender.

Scott Feltham completed the scoring in the 76th minute after good play by James Stephens had opened up the defence.

Bishop Sutton made it four successive victories with a 4-1 home win over Corsham Town.

Corsham missed a first-minute chance of taking the lead when Tom Smith missed from the penalty spot.

Despite the setback, they took a 40th-minute lead with a header from Craig Gingell.

Bishop Sutton equalised on the hour mark through Tom Jacobs from the penalty spot after Rob Dumphy was upended by the goalkeeper. Five minutes later, Dumphy struck again to make it 2-1.

Jacobs to make it 3-1 and Leon Britton completed the scoring with five minutes left.

Hallen had to work hard to overcome bottom-of-the-table Barnstaple Town 2-0. Manager Gary Domone said: "Barnstaple will not be bottom of the table for long if they continue to play like they did against us."

Hallen took a 20th-minute lead through Andy Cook from the penalty spot after striker Jason Reynolds had been brought down. Danny Copeland missed a good chance of increasing the lead, before setting up Reynolds to make it 2-0 after 35 minutes.

Barnstaple continued to pose problems for the home defence and striker Kevin Squire was unlucky to see his shot hit an upright.

Brislington slumped to another home defeat, 4-0 against Dawlish Town, despite dominating the opening half.

They went in 1-0 down at the interval after Matt Micklewright broke away to score.

Dawlish came out to dominate the second half with goals from Dean Stevens, Adam Shearer and Antony Lynch after Billy Guibarra missed from the penalty spot for Brislington.

In the First Division, championship-chasing Longwell Green Sports were held to a 1-1 draw at home by bottom-of-the-table Odd Down who took a 70th-minute lead through Andy Lomas after good play by Steve Machin.

Longwell Green, who had missed a good first-half chance through Andy Summers, put on the pressure and wasted several chances before Summers made up for his earlier miss by crashing home a 20-yard drive.

Oldland Abbotonians went on a goal spree, beating visiting Shepton Mallet 5-1, with striker Matt Huxley hitting a hat-trick.

Also on target were Wayne Pearce and Jordon Richards, after Shepton Mallet had taken a 17th-minute lead through Brad Allen.

Portishead, who scored through Andy Lynch and Dave Pettit, were held to a 2-2 draw by visiting Elmore who led 2-1 through two goals from Steve Rowland before Pettit's late equaliser.

Keynsham Town claimed a consolation goal from Steve Cains late in the game as they slumped to a 5-1 defeat at Bradford Town.
