Bailey wins with carp

Saints AC veteran Tom Bailey knocked-up a small fish victory in the Kingswood Disabled & Over-55s Match, fished on Bullock Farm's Rushcombe Lake at Kingston Seymour.

He poled a 6mm soft pellet over a sparse micro pellet feed into the far margin off peg 6 for 20-7-0 of goldfish and small carp weighing between three and 12oz.

NFA South West Disabled team member Dave Britton fished maggot and caster at peg 30 for a 16-4-0 second while third-placed Eddie Buck used the same method with maggot and worm at 40 for a similar 14-9-0.

Result: 1, Tom Bailey (Saints AC) 20-7-0, peg 6; 2, Dave Britton 16-4-0, peg 30; 3, Eddie Buck 14-9-0, peg 40; 4, Bob Dark (Saints AC) 13-5-0, peg 46; 5, Tom Newell 12-15-0, peg 14; 6, John Scrase 12-5-0, peg 18.
