Yate-born Olympian Zoe Derham retained her hammer title and former Bristol & West AC long jumper Amy Woodman finished runner-up .
● Bristol & West's Kate Reed, racing for the first time since the Olympic 10,000m final last year, won the Great North 10k, in Sunderland, in a time of 33mins 22secs.
● Bristol & West AC's Jon Wills won the 5,000m at the Welsh Championships. producing a 61-seconds last lap for victory in 14mins 23secs.
● Sean Hazell carved six seconds off his personal best with a time of 1mins 58.1secs for the 800m in Sunday's Avon League meeting at Yate.
