Aardman help animate Kingswood history
The display looks at the history of the Kingswood Foundation, a charity that supports youth projects in the area.
It shows the organisation's roots as a Wesleyan school, through its time as a reformatory school for young offenders to the modern day as a centre for youth arts.
The exhibition includes oral histories from people involved with the foundation dating back as far as 1929.
It was designed, produced and created by young people who are currently studying on the Kingswood Foundation summer master class in visual arts.
The show was officially opened on Friday, by Bristol City Council's cabinet councillor for children Clare Campion-Smith.
Chief executive of the Kingswood Foundation Sandy Hore-Ruthven said: "The young people have had the opportunity to learn new skills, have fun and work with top artists including Ian Whitlock who was an animator with Aardmans on Flushed Away and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit."
The exhibition is being held at the foundation in Britannia Road.
