Thoughts of the Bristol Rovers fans after the defeat to MK Dons
"IT WASN'T very entertaining to watch but I thought we did better than we did in the last few games.
We were a lot more solid and made life difficult for the MK Dons until they got their penalty.
It was disappointing not to get something from the game because we had a few chances."
Jason Wheeler, Bishopsworth
"PAUL Trollope made the right decision to sacrifice Chris Dickson for the sake of the team.
The extra man in midfield worked up to a point and, if Elliott had scored instead of hitting the bar early on, the result could have been different.
I am still worried that our squad is a bit thin and I hope Trollope will make one or two loan signings in the next few weeks."
Michael Allum, Horfield
"I HOPE the performance will help to build a bit of confidence to end this bad run.
Even though the result didn't go for us in the end, I thought it was much better than the last four games.
We have slipped out of the top six but I always thought we were not quite at that level, even when we were winning games earlier in the season."
Gareth Halls, Yate
"IT WAS about time Paul Trollope tried something different to stop the rot and the change in formation almost worked for us.
It was important we didn't concede a lot of goals like we did against Leeds and Norwich, and now I hope we can build on it and try and bring an end to this losing run – hopefully against Southampton on Friday night."
David Shepperston, Hanham
"IT WAS a better performance but we still need a couple of more players if we want to seriously challenge the top six – I think that has been obvious to anyone who has watched the last few games.
I'm not holding out much hope for Friday night as Chris Dickson and Mikkel Andersen are both cup-tied and Danny Coles is probably not going to be fit either."
Martin Cooke, Stroud
