Bristol Rovers Andersen plans to shut out his old team-mates
But the young Danish stopper is looking forward to lining up against two of his former clubs in Bristol Rovers next couple of matches.
Paul Trollope's side will be looking to keep their winning run going at Brentford on Saturday – and Andersen played one game for the Bees last December during an emergency loan move from Reading.
He played a small part in the London club's promotion campaign by featuring in their 2-1 win over Bradford. "Although I only played one game there, we won it. Now I'm looking forward to going back there this weekend and beating them," said Andersen.
"After that we play at home to Brighton, where I also had a loan spell last season.
"It's always good to go back and face a former club and hopefully I can be part of two more wins for us."
Andersen, aged 20, has made an impressive start to his Memorial Stadium loan spell by keeping clean sheets in the victories over Millwall and Oldham.
And he has already been impressed with the way he has been so quickly accepted by the club and their fans.
"I was made to feel really welcome as soon as I arrived here and settled in within a couple of days," said Andersen. "It's been good to get in with the fans and I love playing in front of them. Getting them going so they are right behind us is part of what you do in games.
"On Saturday, they really cheered for us. Oldham just came here to try and destroy our game and go away with a draw, so we did really well to win it at the end.
"It's been a good start, with two clean sheets and two wins, so I'm not complaining.
"Part of that is because we have good communication and get on well in defence. We are working well together and that's the reason our opponents haven't had too many chances.
"We are third in the league and now just have to keep our heads down and try to push on to see how far we can go."
Rovers have kept four clean sheets in their seven league outings so far and Trollope believes that has played a major part in the side's impressive start to the campaign.
"We had problems defensively over the first part of last season, but this time that aspect of our play has been good and the clean sheets have helped us to get to where we are," he said.
"When we looked at how the fixtures came out, we thought it gave us a chance to make a good start and get some points on the board, which has proved the case. There have been some good performances and good wins along the way.
"But it is still early in the season – we're aware of that and we have a good test coming up at Brentford on Saturday before we go into a little period when we play some of the fancied teams in the division.
"We're under no illusions about what lies ahead of us, but the confidence and spirit in the squad is good, our fitness is good and the form of individuals is getting to where it needs to be."
