First win for Harvesters

BRISTOL SUNDAY LEAGUE: Harvesters grabbed a first win of the season in the Bristol Sunday League Premier Division by beating high-flying Shireway Sports 3-1 with goals from Rob Martin, Matt Durbin and Jake James.

In Division III, Chris Reed hit a hat-trick for Midland Spinner, who thumped Oracle 9-3.

● Withywood United beat Castle Court 6-3 to record their first win of the season in the Bristol & Wessex Sunday League Senior Division.

Alex Morrison scored all three goals but Ryan Peacey (2), Sean Caines, Jan Prytocki, Ashley Riddock and Lewis Rudge gave Withywood the points.

Team Jansen continued their 100 per cent record in Division I with a 10-4 hammering of Brislington Badgers. James Dunn led the way with four goals and was joined on the scoresheet by Ricky Gray (2), Gary Hancock (2), George Brimble and Lee Hancock.

FC Star on Sunday were also among the goals, beating Real St George 7-0 thanks to Liam Horton (2), Daniel Cook, Nathan Irwin, Stuart Lee, Dan Silcox and Jamie Webb.
