Failand claimed victory with 10 balls to spare. Captain Alastair McArthur (61) led the way before Jeff Astle (30 not out) hit the winning runs.
Leaders Pak Bristolians have been beaten for the second time this season after Chew Magna claimed a six-wicket success.
Bristolians were all out for 150, with Imran Butt hitting 69, but Nigel Ogborne scored 85 in Chew's reply of 151-4.

Hanham hung on for a one-wicket victory against Bristol Sri Lankans with O Ralph's 60 playing a crucial part in the win. Samantha scored 63 for the Sri Lankans.
Barry Radford took 6-35 as Bradley Stoke (93-2) eased to an eight-wicket victory over Frampton Cotterell (92).
Adam Robson missed out on a third century this summer when hitting 94 not out in Lodway's four-wicket defeat to Bitton in Division Two.
Captain Mark Lucas (71) and N Spear (60) guided Bitton to victory.
Peter Bishop and Chris Diaper scored 72 not out and 69 respectively as Patchway chased down Gordano Valley's 240-8 for the loss of five wickets. Valley's leading run-makers were Danny Peters (81) and Joe Eizenberg (50).
Stoke Bishop thrashed Carsons/Mangotsfield by nine wickets after Adam Barber hit an unbeaten 80 and Ramesh added 67. The evergreen Glen Cambridge scored 56 for Carsons.
Stothert & Pitt recorded a five-wicket win against St George after Mark Britton made 51.
James Hemming (74) and Jeremy Board (64) guided Blagdon to a 62-run victory against Woodpeckers.
In Division Three, Mark Brown took 5-18 and Ben Figueiredo hit 52, but both finished on the losing side as Barrow Gurney were beaten by two runs by Bristol Indians.
Mike Tucker's 77 steered Lympsham to a five-wicket win over Stoke Gifford. John Black (98) and P Long (52 not out) were Gifford's leading batsmen.
Adam Young smacked 111 as Pucklechurch routed Bishop Sutton by 159 runs, while Simon Merchant claimed 6-39 in United Banks' five-wicket win over Old Elizabethans.
In Division Four, M Harvey and M Gupta made 78 and 56 respectively in Southmead's six-run victory over Hengrove. Ashley Martin (70) and Paul Martin (55 not out) were Hengrove's main run-makers.
J Norval smashed 175 as Lodway made 334-6 before BAC could only muster 150 in reply in 2nd XI Division Four.
M Ralph claimed 9-13 as Hanham B beat Bishopston B by 21 runs in A XI Division Three. A Newton took 8-33.
