We should ban pedlars of God
I WAS unlucky enough to answer the door to two very "churchy" people the other day.
They prodded a pamphlet at me which looked like it had been illustrated for children. They then proceeded to promise me a "Paradise Earth".
It was only after I'd managed to lever away a bothersome foot from the doorjamb and send them on their way that a thought occurred to me; why is it that cold-calling has been banned for sellers of such essential wares as gas and electricity but not for pedlars of God? At least gas and electricity can be proven to exist. Extend the law now and leave us peace-loving atheists in peace.
