In-form Kett keeps Eastville in charge

Eastville Club A top the Premier Division of the Bristol and District Snooker League by two points and are unbeaten after five matches.

The club's Jason Kett has won all five matches and has been well-backed by Nigel Howes, Cary Revill and Kevin Yeates.

Second-placed St Annes Club A and Pot Black A, in third, are also unbeaten with the latter having a match in hand.

Brian Eaves, of Whitchurch British Legion, had a break of 53 in his match against Brian Jones of Backwell Village, the highest break in Division One this season.

However, Eaves still lost, going down by two frames to one, and Backwell won the match 4-1.
