Three arrests after car abandoned in Longwell Green
THREE teenagers were arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle after a car was abandoned in Longwell Green.
They were arrested after residents alerted police to 'suspicious behaviour' at a garage in Oldland at 2.30am today and later in a garden in Willsbridge Hill.
Two 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man were arrested close to where the vehicle was abandoned and are being questioned by detectives.
Rachael Hodges, a temporary neighbourhood police inspector, said: "I'd like to thank the people who called us when they saw suspicious activity.

“Well done to the people who phoned the police. Lets hope that the three who were arrested are dealt with properly and get all they deserve. People work hard for their stuff and thieves who take from people should be sentenced severely. Good work by the Police.”
