Rixon romps home in the Sunday Open
Depending on wind strength, he alternated between a long and short pole. He tempted 15 carp totalling 112-6-0 from the island margins of Specimen 36 with sweetcorn and 23-14-0 of skimmers and perch to 1-8-0 from lakeside with caster.
Second was Dynamite Baits sponsored Dean Malin, who topped Match Lake with an 11 carp catch of 58-11-0 taken from the corner, lakeside margins of Match 24 with caster
Avon Angling boss John Bradford topped the silverfish list at Specimen 26 where caster, poled close-in, came up with a superb 26-14-0 of quality perch.

Tony Rixon is planning to run a brand-new Teams of Four series for the 2010 season.
League fees for the "Teams of Four South West 2010" will be £144 per team, which must be paid in full before the end of June 2010.
Pools at each match will be £100 per team of which £80 will be paid out in pools money on the day. The remaining £20 will go towards the team payout at the end of the series.
