Peg 13 provided the first win of the season for Brian Cleevely in the Kingswood Disabled & Over 55s match fished at Ivy House Lakes.

Second was Mike Ferris, who alternated between a straight lead and maggot feeder at peg 22 for an all carp catch of 20-6-0.

Pete Powe came third at peg 30 where pellet poled at 13 metres centre tempted 15-15-0 of carp while fourth-placed Ted Bethel poled paste into the lakeside margins of peg 10 and converted his only bite of the match into a 13-12-0 carp.

The top silverfish catch was taken by Dave Britton who used a single maggot and a tiny size 22 hook to coax 4-12-0 of bits from the lakeside margins of peg 24.
