Burgess claims top weight at Viaduct Fishery

Fewer than eight pounds in weight separated the top three places in the Bristol PSV match, fished on Campbell Match lake at Viaduct Fishery, Somerton.

The top weight was taken by Steve Burgess, who fished an 8mm pellet at full depth beneath a waggler at 30 metres off peg 129 and caught 70-1-0 of carp in the 4-8lb bracket.

Mike Wilson, in second, caught 67-15-0 at peg 125, while third-placed Mark Britton took 62-15-0 at corner peg 123.
