It all adds up to world domination
Students at Winterbourne International Academy tested their mental arithmetic against pupils around the globe on World Maths Day.
But the youngsters used the challenge to brush up on foreign languages as well as their mathematical skills in order to answer the questions posed, with Slovakian, Turkish and Portuguese among the languages used.

The event involved students in a number of countries competing live against each other through the internet. Principal Rob Evans said the school had specialist status in maths and modern languages so the competition combined both subjects for its students.
