More than 200 people visited an animation festival in Barton Hill.

The event included workshops, a model-making contest and spin painting, in which paint is poured on a spinning disc. There were also films by professional and amateur animators.

Staff from animation firm Sumo Science gave a talk about how to get a job in the industry and took along "surprise guests" Wallace and Gromit.

Members of Wellspring Saturday Animation Club premiered their films, Prince Harry the Wonderful and Trip to Planet Dangerous. The annual festival, which was started in 2006, was organised by the Arts Programme based at Wellspring Healthy Living Centre in Barton Hill and funded by Community at Heart, a regeneration scheme for the area.
