Parents, members of HWCP, Bristol City Council play rangers and youth workers help run the events.
Earlier this month The Post reported how the future of the project was under threat following changes to the way in which the city council funds its youth and play services, due to come into force in April.
HWCP manager, Heather Williams, said: "Despite the weather more than 60 people attended. It is such a valuable event to the local community which young people really enjoy."
Local parents and volunteers are now being sought to help run the scheme. Anyone wanting to find out more can call 0117 9141251.
