Young women hospitalised after single-vehicle crash
THREE young women were taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Cleeve, near Congresbury.
Fire and rescue teams were called to the A370 at about 1.50am on Saturday after the accident involving a Renault Clio.
One of the women was released just before they arrived but crews from Yatton and Nailsea had to cut the other two out of the wreckage in an operation that took about an hour.
They were taken to hospital in Bristol with what were described as a range of injuries.
