Bristol Rovers have given a professional contract to Under-18s goalkeeper Rob Holmes.

Holmes, who has just turned 18, has signed until the end of June.

Head of youth Darren Patterson said: "The kid is a terrific size, he needs a lot of work, but he has done well for us."
