Young Bristol artists make their own Christmas cards
Youngsters at an art studio in Hartcliffe are appealing to people and businesses to buy their unique Christmas card.
Room 13, which is based at Hareclive Primary School in Moxham Drive, has 3,000 copies of its cards on sale to raise funds. This year's card was designed by 10-year-old Jake Bailey, one of the pupils who uses the studio.

The children, aged nine to 11, who run Room 13 are looking for ways to increase income and make the studio more sustainable. They are funded this year by the Paul Hamlyn foundation and the Arts Council. Managing director and treasurer Josh Greenslade, 11, said: "We sold cards last year and it was a great success." Chairman Sam Blacker, 10, said that in 2008 local Labour councillor Helen Holland, who was then leader of Bristol City Council, had bought 300 cards to use to send out official civic festive greetings.
