Yeovil back the Slade's bid to sign striker
Yeovil Town have vowed to back manager Russell Slade's bid to bring in a striker when the emergency loan market re-opens next week.
Chief executive Martyn Starnes said: "We'd love to get another player in that position. We did make some very firm approaches before the end of the January window but we were without success.

"Either the club or the player didn't want to make a move and might have been waiting for something else.
"We would like to see another striker come in at this stage."
Yeovil's management are also keen to extend the loans of Swansea's Shaun MacDonald and Huddersfield's Jon Worthington.
"That is possible," said Starnes. "We'll review that in light of events when their months come to an end. We have to consider the fitness of the other players in the squad."
Today's home game with Northampton Town was postponed more than 24 hours before kick-off because of safety concerns.
Starnes said: "The safety officer and police liaison officer toured the inside and outside of the ground and in their professional opinion it was too dangerous.
"There is a shortage of salt and grit so we weren't even able to go out and get additional supplies in.
"The pitch still had snow on it but the game was called off because of safety reasons."
