Yate schoolgirl attacked as she walked home

A teenager girl was punched and kicked by two women who attacked her as she walked home from school in Yate.

The 15-year-old had left Brimsham Green School at lunchtime on Monday, May 18, when the women approached her in Ash Close.

Both were white, wore hooded tops and were described as being of large build with black scarves around their faces.

One was about 5ft 11ins tall, wore dark trousers and a white top with black writing on it.

The second woman was 5ft 8ins tall, blonde and wore a beige top.

Their victim suffered a cut leg in the incident, which happened at about 12.40pm.
