Gloucestershire County Youth League: George Brimson's goal handed Yate Town a second victory over Winterbourne United in the space of under a fortnight.

Having pipped them 3-1 in the league 10 days previously, thanks to a flurry of late goals, Brimson's strike was enough to see Yate through to the semi-final, where they'll take on Forest Green Rovers at home in early March.

With two second round games still to be played the draw for the semi-finals remains incomplete. Gala Wilton or Cheltenham Saracens will face either Thornbury Town or Wotton Rovers in the other last-four clash.

Meanwhile, Wotton moved to the top of the table on goal difference with a 3-2 home victory over Thornbury, thanks to two Kieran Frost goals and George Hemmings' effort.

Danny Veale and Andy Gibbs netted for Longwell.

The Cadbury Heath versus Gala Wilton match was postponed.
