Yate Town lost their GFA Senior Cup semi-final with Gloucester City after a penalty shoot-out.

Town took a surprise lead in the 15th minute through Joe White.

Yate went 2-0 up just after the hour mark when Mike Whittington seized on a poor backpass by Luke Ballinger.

However, Matt Sysum headed a goal back within a minute and Alex Sykes made it 2-2 after 72 minutes.

Extra-time did not separate the sides and City eventually edged through on penalties.
