Yate Town took the opportunity to stretch their lead at the top to four points by walloping Gala Wilton 5-1.

It was sweet revenge for a Yate side who earlier in the season had been beaten at home by Gala as they swept to the top of the table.

Cadbury Heath moved into second place thanks to a 4-1 home win over previously-unbeaten Wotton Rovers.

Kyle Tooze, Christian Mee, Charlie Stevens and Josh Cann netted for the hosts, whileTom Stubbs scored Wotton's consolation goal.

Forest Green Rovers remain in fifth place after their away fixture with Longwell Green Sports was called off.

Shirehampton secured a second win on the trot with a 2-1 victory at bottom club Winterbourne United thanks to goals from Jake Still and Matt McCall. Danny Dean hit Bourne's consolation.

Mid-table Bristol Manor Farm are the league's highest goalscorers but also have the worst defensive record. So perhaps it was no surprise that their visit to Thornbury Town ended in a 4-4 draw.

Matthew Weeks took the scoring honours for Thornbury with a hat-trick and he was joined on the scoresheet by Steve Nash.

Jordan Rogers netted twice for Manor Farm to take his tally to 14 in the league this season, while Tom Kingston and Nathan Simmons were also on target.
