X Factor singer George Shelley into next round with Union J
CLEVEDON singer George Shelley has made it through to the next round of the ITV1 talent show X Factor.
George and fellow members of boy band Union J earned enough votes from the public to pass through the fifth round of the contest last night. Kye Sones was eliminated following a sing-off with Rylan Clark.
Last week, 19-year-old George and his bandmates survived a nail-biting sing-off to win through to another week on the reality talent show.
Union J chose to perform US singer Pink's Perfect and defeated Jade Ellis, who performed Dido's White Flag.

They ended up in the bottom two after a public vote based on performances on Saturday's show, which meant that either they or Jade would be eliminated.
Barlow told Union J that he could see the commitment and "the ambition in your eyes".
