X Factor has a finalist from city
A BRISTOL teenager is through to the finals of this year's X Factor talent show.
George Shelley, 19, is one quarter of the band Union J.

The band started out as a trio called Triple J – after the bandmates JJ, Josh and Jaymi – but changed their name to Union J after the boot camp stage when judge Louis Walsh added fellow contestant George into the group. Louis is now the group's mentor as they go into the finals of the ITV1 singing contest, which attracts millions of viewers every weekend.
George, right, already has several of his own fanpages on social website Facebook, where fans are posting messages of good luck.

He posted a message on website Twitter after the band made it through to the final, which said: "We're through! That was so emotional to watch! Thank you so much @thexfactor. Love from George x."
After Louis's choice was unveiled, fans of the show took to Twitter in their droves comparing the quartet to boy band One Direction, who have become successful after performing in X Factor in 2010 and finishing third.
George has already been compared with One Direction's Harry Styles because of his wild brown hair and cheeky grin.
Part-time coffee shop worker George only joined the group three days before flying to Las Vegas to audition in front of Louis and Sharon Osbourne.
Describing why he chose the group, Louis said: "The boys have a great young image, girls are going to love them, they have it all – great energy, looks and the vocals to match."
