Wrinkly Rappers holding out for live spot on Britain's Got Talent
The Wrinkly Rappers are waiting to hear if they are through to the live round of Britain's Got Talent which is screened tonight.
The Wrinkly Rappers are Brenda Brooks aged 56, Marion Bower, 66, both of Burnham-on-Sea, Belinda Marks, 46, of Bridgwater and Terry Reynolds, 65, of Corsham.
Brenda and Terry formed the group after performing at a folk music event for the Caravan and Camping Club.
Their aim was to show older people can still have fun and make people laugh and the rap group auditioned last December for the ITV1 show.
The group got through the second audition round in Cardiff back in February performing in front of judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.
Now they are eagerly waiting to hear if they will appear in the live show.
Brenda said: "At the moment we still don't know. What is going out tonight is what was filmed during the auditions and this will last for seven to eight weeks. It will then reach the semi finals.
"Once it goes out at the weekend, we are hoping we will hear something. They have said we will appear on TV and we have done an interview for their website."
Brenda says the group came about after she and Terry watched some children perform a rap at the Caravan and Camping Folk Show.
She said the rap was about old people being an embarrassment and the pair thought it would be fun to perform a response rap with two other people for a laugh, which went down well.
Brenda says the original two other members lived in Devon and did not carry on and so she enlisted the help of her two friends Belinda and Marion.
