Overall winner Chris Woolley scraped home by an ounce from Chris Bland and topped the silverfish category in the Carpenters Arms 2000 club match fished at The Sedges, Bridgwater.

Pete Sivell needed just 4-3-0 of skimmers and roach to win the Dave's Dozen Thursday Evening Open match fished at Bathurst Basin.

Sivell, the Dynamite Baits-sponsored rod, poled a double maggot hookbait over a caster laced groundbait at 10 metres centre off peg one and started catching small fish from his first put-in.
