Shirehampton residents celebrated harvest with a natural take on the thanksgiving theme.

Craftsman Dick Helme gave an exhibition of the woodwork he has created for St Mary's Church across the years; including items made from the cherry tree which once stood in the grounds of the church centre in Pembroke Rd.

Mr Helme gave woodwork demonstrations on the day.

The exhibition also included a flower festival, with a variety of arrangements produced by members of the church congregation on the theme of The Carpenter's Workshop.
