Wood Senior shows he can do it too
There was a double golfing celebration in the Wood household at the weekend.
With Chris Wood securing his European Tour card for next season with a top-10 finish at the Celtic Manor Wales Open, his dad Richard was winning the Long Ashton GC championship.

Richard carded a gross 144 to win by two shots.
The weekend's wet weather looked to have scuppered the four handicapper's bid.
But the green staff at Long Ashton were able to clear the course of standing water and the championship went ahead.
Two rounds later and Richard, 52, was celebrating winning the trophy.
He said: "I was looking at the weather and thinking that I would give it a miss this year and go and watch Chris.
"But then it started to brighten up and I thought I'd give it a go.
"I had a solid first round and shot 71, which was good, and followed that up with a 73 for a total 144.
"When Chris was two-over for the front nine I decided to stay on at Long Ashton and play the second round.
"During the afternoon, Sarah (Richard's wife) was phoning me to say that Chris was fighting back and had had a really good back nine.
"So while I was disappointed not to be there for Chris's good round, I had a good afternoon myself.
"It was great that Chris and his mum made it back from Celtic Manor to see me receive the trophy – it made it really special."
