Women battle it out for FA Cup glory
Bristol's first Sport Week will end in style as teams from Chelsea and Birmingham battle it out in the Women's FA Cup final.
The week that has started with the Bristol 10k and seen the Olympic Torch procession pass through the city finishes fittingly with the showpiece event for women's football. The match, at Ashton Gate, is set to be a nail-biting game given that it's the first time either team have reached the final.
A win would complete a remarkable feat of four cups for Chelsea this season – the men have won their FA Cup, as have the male youths and the female under 17s.
Bristol City chief executive Guy Price said: "We're delighted to be hosting the FA Women's Cup Final at Ashton Gate, completing what will have been a fantastic week of sport for the city."
