A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after it crashed with a single-decker bus.

Avon Fire and Rescue and Great Western Ambulance Service were called to the collision at about 9.40pm last night on Redcliffe Way, Bristol.

The woman was trapped in the car and had to be released by the emergency services.

The crash also caused a diesel and oil spillage, which firefighters washed away before the road was made safe again after half an hour.
