'Woman said she was in love with teenager'
A Bristol woman who allegedly had a six-month affair with a teenage boy must wait to be sentenced after a judge demanded to know the nature of their relationship. Marie Jane Friendship, 38, told people she was in love with the teenager, Bristol Crown Court was told. She had previously admitted the offence and had returned to court on Friday to be sentenced. The judge adjourned the case because he wanted more information about Friendship's relationship with the boy. Friendship, of Holford Court, Whitchurch was released on bail until sentencing on a date to be fixed. The judge apologised for the delay.
