Woman throttled by muggers
A woman was throttled until she lost conciousness by muggers in Bristol.
The attack happened in Montpelier as the 31-year-old woman was walking home.
Detectives said she was walking along Fairfield Road, near Ashley Hill, when she was attacked by two men without warning.
They choked her, leaving her unconscious, before stealing her handbag which contained cash and cosmetics.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said one man was white, the other black. Both were aged about 30 to 32.
They want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the attack, which happened on Wednesday evening at about 9.30pm.
