Woman injured in motorway crash
A woman was cut from a Citroen car after a two-vehicle crash on the M5.
Avon Fire and Rescue crews went to the smash on the southbound carriageway of the motorway between Portbury and Clevedon today.
The woman, understood to be in her 40s, had a suspected neck injury and the car roof was cut away so rescue teams could release her before she was taken to hospital.
Her injuries were not thought to be life threatening. No-one else in the crash, which also involved a Ford Fiesta, was hurt.
