A woman has appeared in court charged with stealing £7,000 of goods from a house in Southmead.

Billie Jo Lovell, 26, of Doncaster Road, Southmead, is accused of stealing laptops, cameras, DVDs, video recorders, three cases of wine, cheque books and other items from an address in Lydney Road between October 8 and 10.

She did not enter a plea to the charge at Bristol Magistrates' Court.

She was remanded in custody and will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court again on October 27.
