A woman was knocked from her bike by a gang of youths as she rode on the Bristol to Bath cycle path.

The 30-year-old was attacked at 1.10pm last Saturday near to the cattle grid at Siston Common. She was passing a group of around five white youths, aged 15 to 20, when one of them kicked out and knocked her off her bike. She landed in brambles and was left covered in scratches, and her bike was also damaged.

“Clever brave lads picking on a woman. Is it too much to hope that one of them has some decency in him and informs on his cowardly mates.”
