Witness plea for information to solve hand injury mystery

POLICE are trying to get to the bottom of how a man was injured at a Filton bus stop.

At around 12.10pm on Wednesday, April 18, the 61-year-old man got off a bus at the Filton Church stop on the A38 Gloucester Road North.

At this point he hurt his hand.

Avon and Somerset police spokesman Martin Dunscombe said: "The man recalls trapping his hand and falling over however a conflicting account has been given by others.
