A woman was sexually assaulted by a man in Bristol who followed her in the street in the early hours.

The 20-year-old woman was followed by a man along Burchells Green Road into Sherwood Road, Speedwell, where he attacked her at 4.45am on Sunday.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is on police bail.
