Police are trying to trace a motorcyclist and car driver who were almost hit by a 4x4 during a road rage incident.

The silver Mitsubishi Shogun was following a silver Renault Clio along Englishcombe Road, Aldwick Avenue, Bishport Avenue and Queens Road in Hartcliffe.

Police say the female driver of the Shogun was shouting abuse at the driver of the Clio as she drove "dangerously close" behind her, at one point hitting the back of the car.

They say the Shogun narrowly missed an oncoming blue saloon car in Aldwick Avenue and almost hit a motorbike whose rider was wearing black leathers and a dark helmet in Queens Road.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened last Thursday, July 9, at 7.45pm, or who has information, should contact police on 0845 456 7000.
