Wife had to call home to get help
THIS Government is disgusting. They send millions to foreign countries while our hospitals are shouting out for nurses and equipment.
My wife was in Frenchay Hospital. She is very disabled. I went in on her first day. Her food was going cold, just stuck in front of her. Nobody fed her.
I had to go in twice a day to feed her, I am in my 70s and also disabled. The button to call a nurse was out of her reach.
On her last day in Frenchay Hospital she phoned myself at home after a lot of struggle to use the phone.

Her request was 'Can you phone the ward and ask a nurse to see me?' She was sat in her own toilet for four hours.
She then moved to Southmead where the nurses are magnificent but are very tired due to lack of staff.
It's about time the Government looked after our hospitals.
